The context

Steyr Motors expanded its European distribution network during 2025 through new agreements in the United Kingdom and Greece.

In the United Kingdom, the company appointed Golden Arrow Marine as an official distribution partner. In Greece, it entered an agreement with Petros Petropoulos AEBE, marking Steyr Motors’ formal entry into the Greek market. Both arrangements cover marine propulsion systems, spare parts and local service support.

Nularia’s contribution

Nularia contributed to the market entry work through a specialist partner with relevant maritime-sector experience.

Our input focused on the commercial considerations around a partner-led route to market. It included support for local-market assessment and early planning for the distributor model.

The strategic outcome

The agreements gave Steyr Motors a stronger local route to market in two priority European locations.

The Greek arrangement established an official market presence where the company had previously operated without an authorised partner. The United Kingdom agreement strengthened the company’s position in an established maritime market.

The two agreements had a minimum combined volume of €5 million. They also created a basis for local technical support and spare-parts availability.

Nularia’s contribution

Nularia supported part of the strategic execution work through a specialist transformation partner.

The assignment focused on the practical implications of the customer-led operating direction. It included work to support leadership engagement and the translation of the new approach into relevant business priorities.
